Mouse Data

International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC)
The IMPC is an international effort by 21 research institutions to identify the function of every protein-coding gene in the mouse genome.

Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI)
MGI is the international database resource for the laboratory mouse, providing integrated genetic, genomic, and biological data to facilitate the study of human health and disease.

Mouse Phenome Database (MPD)
The MPD enables the integration of genomic and phenomic data by providing access to primary experimental data, well-documented data collection protocols and analysis tools.

Mouse (Mus musculus) studies and datasets via FaceBase
FaceBase has a strong foundation of developmental data in animal models with summaries of available data by age stage and anatomical region for mouse and zebrafish.

Mouse Oral Microbiome Database (MOMD)
The MOMD is a curated online resource for mouse-based studies. MOMD provides tools, including a reference set of mouse oral microbial 16S rRNA gene sequences, a BLASTN search tool for 16S rRNA gene identification, online search and browsing tools for genome annotations, as well as BLAST search against genomic contigs and annotations.

PeptideAtlas
PeptideAtlas is a multi-organism, publicly accessible compendium of peptides identified in a large set of tandem mass spectrometry proteomics experiments. Mass spectrometer output files are collected for human, mouse, yeast, and several other organisms, and searched using the latest search engines and protein sequences.

The Immunological Genome Project (ImmGen)
ImmGen is a collaborative group of immunology and computational biology labs who join forces and expertise to perform a broad and deep dissection of the genome’s activity and its regulation in the immune system of the mouse.

Microbial Data

Candida Genome Database (CGD)
The CGD is a resource for genomic sequence data, as well as gene and protein information for Candida albicans and related species.

MicrobiomeDB
MicrobiomeDB was developed as a discovery tool that empowers researchers to fully leverage their experimental metadata to construct queries that interrogate microbiome datasets.

NIH Human Microbiome Project (HMP)
HMP generated resources that would enable the comprehensive characterization of the human microbiome and analysis of its role in human health and disease.

Saccharomyces Genome Database (SGD)
The SGD provides comprehensive, integrated biological information for the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae along with search and analysis tools to explore these data, enabling the discovery of functional relationships between sequence and gene products in fungi and higher organisms.

Zebrafish Data

Zebrafish datasets via FaceBase
FaceBase has a strong foundation of developmental data in animal models with summaries of available data by age stage and anatomical region for mouse and zebrafish.

Zebrafish Information Network (ZFIN)
ZFIN is the database of genetic and genomic data for the zebrafish (Danio rerio) as a model organism.
