Research Training & Career Development Branch

The Research Training and Career Development Branch manages the institute's extramural research training programs , including individual fellowships and career development awards, institutional training grants, dental school research experience grants, NIH Loan Repayment Program Awards, and supplements. The overall purpose of these programs is to ensure an adequate number of investigators are prepared to conduct dental, oral, and craniofacial research in the institute's scientific priority areas and align with NIDCR’s mission and strategic plan.
